With a business degree from Howard University and a passion for community, Bri turned a challenging moment—being laid off while pregnant—into a movement that now inspires dancers of all ages and abilities.
From toddler ballet to adaptive dance and her signature Bump, Baby N’ Dance program, Bri’s studio is known for its inclusive spirit, creative programming, and deep roots in faith and family. She’s been featured on national platforms, earned support from brands like American Express and BeyGOOD, and continues to mentor others through workshops and coaching.

Princess Johnson – Founder & Artistic Director, Royal Expressions Contemporary Ballet
Princess Johnson is the visionary force behind Royal Expressions Contemporary Ballet in Greensboro, NC. With a dual degree in Dance Studies and Business from UNC Greensboro, she masterfully blends artistry and entrepreneurship to create a space where dance transcends performance—it becomes a catalyst for empowerment and community connection.
Since founding Royal Expressions in 2009, Princess has choreographed six original productions, including the acclaimed The Hair Journey, a ballet that celebrates Black culture and identity through the lens of hair.
Beyond the stage, Princess is committed to making dance accessible to all. Through the RE-OPEN outreach program, she brings dance education to at-risk youth, seniors, and individuals with special needs, embodying her mission to inspire good character, promote healthy living, and foster community.

Susan Janson, Kick It Up Dance
Susan Janson is the founder and owner of Kick It Up Dance Studio in Long Beach, California. A lifelong dancer and educator, Susan established the studio in 2004 while completing her MBA with a specialization in Marketing at California State University, Long Beach. Her vision was to create a welcoming, education-driven environment where dancers of all ages and skill levels could thrive—while also empowering studio owners to build businesses aligned with their core values.
Under her leadership, Kick It Up has become a cornerstone of the Long Beach community, celebrated for its inclusive atmosphere, diverse range of classes, and strong sense of family. The studio has earned numerous community awards and continues to grow as a leader in both dance education and positive youth development.
In addition to her studio work, Susan is nationally recognized for her published writing on marketing and advertising for the performing arts industry. She is a certified coach and proud member of the More Than Just Great Dancing® affiliation, and currently serves as Community Manager and Certified Coach for Enrollio®, where she supports dance studio owners across the country.

Coaching sessions are paid directly to your coach and are non-refundable unless the coach does not show up or arrives more than 10 minutes late without prior notice.
